Unafraid of controversy! Ubisoft believes AC Shadow will become one of its best-selling games

Ubisoft recently released its financial results for Quarter 1 of the current fiscal year. The company said that the performance of the quarter was "excellent", and its game sales were boosted by the announcement of Assassin's Creed: Shadow.

In a follow-up investor conference call, Ubisoft pointed out that Assassin's Creed Shadow is one of its most ambitious projects ever, and believes that this game will become one of the hottest games of 2024 and one of Ubisoft's best-selling games of all time.

Elsewhere, Ubisoft said Black Sails was "performing well" in terms of engagement and annual spending per user, with the first two weeks after the release of Unruly League attracting 10 million players.
